Na-shock Ako! A night of migrant songs & struggles

Na-shock Ako!, a concert held on May 3, 2008 at Reillys Bar & Cafe, is a night dedicated to all Filipino migrants who have left their loved ones in the Philippines in the hopes of finding better opportunities abroad.

The title of the concert is taken from Levy Abad Jr's popular song Na-shock Ako which describes one's culture shock, a common initial experience of migrants in their new surroundings.  The night consisted of spoken word and music that touched upon the issues of migrants; from separation to reunification, from isolation to assimilation.

Some artists that performed include: Levy Abad Jr., Panyolito, Belinda Corpuz, TNT, Jen Jim & Angelo,  Myk Miranda, Basil Guiab, and John Flores.
